In loving memory of mum!

Casey and I are walking in the Walk to Defeat MND in memory of our beautiful mum, Kim who is now and forever known in our family as Moon Nanna. 🌙

This year marks 5 years since we lost her battle with motor neurone disease. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about her or wish she was still here with us. She was an amazing mum, a devoted nanna and the kind of person whose love and warmth filled every room she walked into.

MND is a cruel and devastating disease. Watching someone you love slowly lose the ability to move, speak and do the everyday things we all take for granted is heartbreaking. 

That’s why we are walking — for Mum, for our family, and for the more than 600 people in NSW currently living with MND.

I’m raising funds for MND NSW so they can continue providing vital support to people and families facing this disease things like assistive equipment, support groups, education and practical help during incredibly difficult times.

Walking is my way of honouring Mum, keeping her memory alive and hopefully helping other families feel a little less alone in their journey.
